Here is some advice about the service if you are new with us:

What is the service like?

Our worship service is our chance to gather and worship God corporately with His people. We seek to create a space where you can rest, be renewed, and rejoice. We worship in a variety of ways; through songs, stories, sermons. On the first Sunday of each month we celebrate Communion, also called the Lord’s Supper.

What should I wear?

Feel free to come in whatever you feel most comfortable. Some will wear t-shirt and jeans, while others may be in business casual.

Do I need to give money or pay?

Along with singing and learning from God’s Word, our offering is part of our worship to God. We give our money as an act of trusting God alone, contributing to God’s work in our world, and to express our appreciation for all that God has given us. As a new guest, your presence with us can be your gift; any giving is optional.

Where do kids go?

We welcome children to participate in our services. After gathering together for the first part of our service, children will join Life Kids. This is offered for all kids 2 years and older.  This is our children’s ministry that is tailored for young kids to have fun and creatively learn about God.

Do I need to speak English?

We are a bilingual community. Our songs are a mixture of English and Japanese. The sermon is either in English with Japanese interpretation or Japanese with English interpretation. As our community represents primarily Japanese-speaking, primarily English-speaking, or bilingual people, you are welcome no matter which language you speak.

When do you meet?

We have worship services on Sunday at 10:00 and 11:45. The service typically ends around 11:15 and 1.
